Is 'Dancing With The Stars' going to up the celebrity ante?

Are the days of D-List celebrities over on "Dancing With The Stars?" This blog seems to hint so. I'm not sold. How on Earth could the show avoid train-wrecks like "Jersey Shore's" Snooki and The Situation?
