The Small Steps Project will be holding the 2011 London Celebrity Shoe Auction and the premier of the new film at a fundraising evening at The Royal Society of Medicine on October 12.
The event aims to raise awareness and funds so that we can continue to assist children in poverty on rubbish dumps around the world.
Among the celebrities who have donated shoes for the event include Colin Firth, Sienna Miller, Julie Walters, Sharleen Spiteri, Samantha Fox, {celebrity{Sarah Jessica Parker}, Kristin Davis, Vivienne Westwood, Eva Green, Tasmin Greig, Lisa Snowdon, Nigella Lawson, Helen Mirren, Sophie Dahl, Rachel Weisz, Eliza Doolittle, Gillian Anderson, Anastacia, Ralph Fiennes, Jamie Lee Curtis, Bill Oddie, Liam Gallagher, Russell Brand, Boy George, Ricky Gervais, David Gray, Chris Noth, Simon Pegg, Jamie Oliver, Michael Palin, Pete Townshend and many more.
Small Steps Project is a humanitarian project dedicated to supporting the children living on rubbish dumps around the world and raising awareness of the unacceptable hardships faced by them through film.
