Questlove Curates Fourth of July Jam, the Roots to Headline

Having just completed their fourth annual Roots Picnic, the hardest working band in show biz, the Roots, have been announced as the headliners of the "largest free concert in America": Philly's Fourth of July Jam.

Drawing over 500,000 attendees each year, Philly's Fourth of July Jam, presented by Wawa Welcome America, is poised to be the biggest event yet, having partnered with musical director Questlove and Philly Mayor Michael A. Nutter to create a two-day celebration for the City of Brotherly Love's music fans.

Featuring a selection of Questo's favorite acts, with 25 artists from a variety of genres, the music festival kicks off on July 3 with several events, including DJ sets by Diplo, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Spinna, J Rocc and Questlove himself, and performances by MC Dom Kennedy with Cassey Veggies and local indie artists Working Drugs, CSLSX and Wrestling.
