Stanley Tucci Cast in 'Hunger Games'

I haven't written much about the Hunger Games casting, but I have been watching with bated breath.  It's the only thing keeping me from losing it over the imminent end of the Harry Potter franchise. 

I've been somewhat OK with the casting so far.  I like Jennifer Lawrence.  I think the kid from The Kids Are All Right is too short and looks nothing like how I pictured Peeta, my love.  I'm happy that Elizabeth Banks will be playing Effie.  

Now, it appears, Stanley Tucci will be playing Caesar Flickerman, AKA the ageless MC of the Hunger Games.  I have two reactions to this: 1) I'm glad he's not playing Cinna and just reprising his role from The Devil Wears Prada, and 2) I really wish that Ryan Seacrest would've been considered for this part.  That would've been so perfectly meta.
