This reminds me of Butch.
Butch was my grandparent's Boston Terrier that had a severe farting problem. Whenever Butch would toot, my grandparents would say, "Ooooh, Butch," which he took as his cue to retire -- head down -- to his mat in the laundry room. Eventually Butch stopped waiting for my grandparents' reprimand and retreated straight to the mat after letting one rip. Oooooh, Butch.
